Sustainability has been a primary motivation in developing the brand AGDA and the products we provide. This motive is naturally incorporated in all processes at AGDA, from the choice of the manufacturer and the materials to packaging and care of the product with the superior goal to provide an eco-friendly product with a maximum lifespan.

MANUFACTURING
SUSTAINABLE PREMIUM QUALITY MADE IN GERMANY

AGDA provides long-lasting products with the highest demands on processing, manufacturing and materials. Using only natural and fine materials our bags are made to last for a lifetime. Processing vegetable tanned leather from a traditional Italian tannery all products are made by hand using a unique stitching technique originally used for saddlery. To minimize the waste of leather during production each piece of the bag is cut mechanically and has pre-stitched seam holes to provide perfectly even seams and edges. This makes the bags especially durable and gives each piece it's unique look.

With a responsible approach to nature we are aiming to minimize our carbon footprint and our impact on the environment. We manufacture our bags completely in Northern Germany paying special attention to a fair way of production and fair wages.

MATERIALS
VEGETABLE TANNED LEATHER FROM ITALY

Leather is a long-lasting and durable natural product. We hand-select our hides in Northern Europe as a by product of the meat industry. The leather for our bags is vegetable tanned in a traditional Italian tannery. This process not only allows the leather to keep the natural features: it's distinctive soft haptic and characteristic optics - wrinkles, veins and pores - but also provides a more eco-friendly manufacturing process. The cowhides turn out distinctively tender and smooth. Every piece is unique and may have a different texture and minimal color differences. Due to the natural features the leather will change, soften and age with time developing a unique patina. Leather is sensitive to natural elements: water, oil, heat, light and too humid or dry environments can damage the leather. Protect the bag from prolonged exposure to heat and light - it will alter the color. To avoid stains wipe if in contact with liquids. If the bag is not in use store it in the provided cotton dust bag.

The bag can last a lifetime if taken care of properly.

ORGANIC HEMP CANVAS

The bags SUN and TINY are made of fabric made of 100% hemp - a strong natural material. It is a sleek and tight woven canvas which makes it especially sturdy and highly resistant to sunlight. With a weight of 600 gr/sqm the hemp canvas is stronger than usual fabric and will stay in shape for a long time.

Hemp is an easy to grow plant. It does not need a lot of water and has hardly any natural enemies, therefor it is naturally cultivated without the use of herbicides or insecticides. It is one of the strongest natural fibres and it is 100% biodegradable. Hemp has good anti-bacterial and UV-resistant properties and it has a pleasant grip and always feels cool. It will absorb and release moisture easily. In case the fabric crinkles use a steamer or steam iron and carefully steam the fabric - it will be back in place in no time.

Each product is designed with care - everything can easily be organized and will be found fast. The large bags fit laptops and have several compartments for everything you need on a busy day. The smooth design of the products make them the perfect daily companion for modern women - suitable for every occasion.

PACKAGING & DELIVERY

We resined completely on plastic, trying to use only recycled packaging. We use DHL as our logistics partner as they provide a compensation program for their carbon footprint. The environmental protection program DHL GoGreen aims to reduce the greenhouse gas and air pollutant emissions to 0 till 2050.
